It’s unusual for an artist’s first releases to be played by Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Sven Vath and Marco Carola. Then again, Stiv Hey isn’t your usual artist.
Hailing from Milan, Stiv is quickly becoming an authority in techno, spearheading the next generation of music leaders. Stiv’s career started in 2012 and thanks to his intense studies of music production all of his tracks have been supported since the beginning by a long list of Top Djs.
Between 2013 and 2016 Stiv started his collaboration with the grammy awarded artist Dubfire, who was really impressed by Stiv’s sound and released some of Stiv’s Ep on his label Sci+Tec. Dubfire also invited Stiv to play alongside him in different shows around the world introducing him to the industry.
Stiv started his international tours in 2014 and in the past 4 years he has begun to see sold-out performances on an international scale. Thanks to the incredible success of his multiple tours in Europe, USA, Russia, South America, India and China Stiv is building an establishment of a worldwide fan base.
2018 has been the best year in Stiv’s career so far. He played a huge world tour with more than 80 shows with highlights on the parties in Ibiza for Music On and the sold out gigs at “The Home” in Barcelona and “Barraca” in Valencia. Stiv is definitely consolidating his position as one of the future stars in Techno.
We have big expectations for 2019 as some very strong Ep’s on Top Techno Labels are on the way to be released and his presence has been re-confirmed in each venue he played during the past years tour, so be sure to see him playing from East to West. His rise really seems to be unstoppable.
